We knew Sam and Nick before Candid was even a product. So when theywere ready to launch in November 2024, we weren't starting from scratch - we were hitting the ground running. From day one, we were building the candidate acquisition engine that would fuel the platform's growth.

Our approach centred on paid media across Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat - with Meta doing the heavy lifting. The secret? Hyper-relevant, operator-led creative that speaks directly to hospitality workers where they are. Think ads that say "Nando's are hiring, and you seem like a good fit - sign up and see if you match." Specific. Scroll-stopping. And highly targeted to the right people in the right area.

The result is a paid media machine that consistently delivers over 1,500 new candidate signups every single month, at around £1.20 per acquisition. That makes EDGEY Candid's single biggest volume channel - responsible for roughly 70% of all signups on the platform. Not bad for a brand that didn't exist a year ago.
