NQ64 x Beefeater

NQ64 x Beefeater Gin

Introduction

Making Leeds thirsty for Beefeater Gin

If there’s one thing we know, it’s this: give people a reason to show up before you open your doors and they will.So when NQ64 asked us to support launch their new Leeds venue, we didn’t just run a few “Coming Soon” campaigns and hope for the best. Nah. We gave Leeds something worth turning up for: a free gaming-themed cocktail. And not just any cocktail. We’re talking about a Kirby - a pink, punchy little number made with Beefeater Gin, designed to match the Nintendo mascot ‘Kirby’ whilst suiting NQ64’s playful vibe and retro gaming style.

2,000 free cocktails, fully funded

Tasked with building hype ahead of the opening, we got people talking (and sipping), we didn’t just drive ‘likes’ on a social post. We built a series of Meta Lead Gen campaigns, targeting a lookalike audience of existing NQ64 customers, with creative + content on point to match the demographic of the city. Once signed up, they got a voucher straight to their inbox for a free Kirby, funded by Pernod Ricard / Beefeater Gin. This was automated via our custom-built Meta x AirShip integration, allowing for real-time comms, which no one else is doing. All they then had to do was show up, and fall in love with the venue‍. The results we’re mind-blowing. Off the back of £1,000 ad spend (covered by our friends at Beefeater), we delivered 234k impressions, 6,042 clicks to the cocktail signup form and 2,019 Kirby cocktails redeemed (yes, we counted)‍. The campaign was on-brand and on-time. The audience was right on the money. Beefeater funded the whole thing, demonstrating the need to tap into your booze suppliers for marketing support. This wasn't about impressions. It was about impression-making. It got people through the door before opening night, and sipping something memorable.‍ Cheers to Kirby. Cheers to NQ64. Cheers to our friends at Beefeater.
